Let’s create something meaningful
Florence architectural Candles
Please note: because reclaimed wax is inherently variable, each candle may differ slightly from the image shown in colour and natural marbling. These subtle variations are part of the beauty of the process and make every piece unique.
Prefer a more uniform finish? Select white wax (paraffin) from the menu. For a pure, perfect white, choose coconut wax.

Why it is unique
The Brunelleschi Dome Candle comes from an exclusive Lume mould, designed in Florence, developed in 3D in Carrara, and moulded in Sesto Fiorentino. Every step of the process remains in Tuscany, creating a product that is local, traceable, and entirely handmade.
Because it is made with reclaimed wax, each candle may show slight variations in tone and surface. These differences are part of its material character and make every piece one of a kind.

A Florence candle with architectural presence
More than a candle, this piece is a contemporary interpretation of Florence’s most iconic dome. Its balanced proportions and sculptural form make it perfect for consoles, tables, shelves, and curated interiors that bring together history, design, and material depth.
A symbol of Renaissance Florence, reimagined in wax, it offers a more thoughtful alternative to the usual souvenir — an object that carries architecture, craftsmanship, and memory into everyday space.

About Lume
Lume is a circular project conceived by Florentine designer Lorenzo Bertini, turning reclaimed wax from Florence’s churches into contemporary sculptural candles.
Each piece is handcrafted in the social workshop Il Candelaio, where craftsmanship becomes a tool for inclusion and social reintegration for people facing housing vulnerability. Every candle is hand-poured, subtly irregular, and carries a story of light being rekindled.
On request, all candles can be produced using natural waxes, such as coconut wax.
